I’m an educator and musician from the San Francisco Bay Area. I teach electric and acoustic guitar to guitar players from beginning to intermediate levels, as well as a few ukulele students.  I’ve studied with Mary Birch (guitar) and Colin Botts (bass, mandolin).  

My teaching approach is flexible, fun, and accessible. I focus on understanding the student’s individual learning style and developing a plan for success that will allow them to achieve their musical goals.  I am also a vocalist, and perform regularly in the Bay Area as a vocalist and guitarist.   When not teaching or playing music, I am the head of the digital design department at Solano Community College, where I teach graphic design, animation, and illustration.
